Disable the new WooCommerce 4.0 dashboard and other new features

Many are the plugins that have had to be updated with the arrival of the new WooCommerce version 4.0. It is a major update and as such it comes with many changes, some quite notable such as the new dashboard, the new top bar or the new Analytics.

First of all, my recommendation is that you do not update the new version of WooCommerce lightly, take your time, if possible, do a test with the combination of plugins that you have on your website and this new version on a test site.

If you’ve already upgraded to WooCommerce 4.0, you’ll be happy to know that Woo Shortcodes Kit has also been updated to work properly with this new version, and even help you disable the new dashboard and other new features.

¿How to disable the new WooCommerce 4.0 dashboard?

If you are already a Woo Shortcodes Kit user, I imagine you already know that the mechanics that follow are to offer new possibilities with just a few clicks. In this case we will only need one to activate the function and another to save the changes and the rest will be done by WSHK.

A quick and easy solution for all of us (at least not yet) interested in these new WooCommerce features. When it will be needed, you just have to deactivate the function and save the changes so that everything works again.

But Woo Shortcodes Kit version 1.8.5 is just a fleeting update from the previous version, as it was released just a day later and not only does it include this feature, some fixes, updates and new features have been added as well. You can know everything that this new version includes from its changelog.

The arrival of this new version has not only been to be compatible with WooCommerce 4.0, it also has a purpose set a while ago, but which until now has not been possible.

If you have already gone through the previous publication about the new website of Woo Shortcodes Kit surely you have already been able to find out something, if not, I recommend that you take a look. And it is that this new version is also compatible with updates to Easy My Account Builder and Custom Blocks and Redirections.

The two plugins for Woo Shortcodes Kit have received significant improvements and changes, which we are going to start to see in the next post with a complete example of how to build a custom account page with Easy My Account Builder quickly and easily.

See you in the next post!
